# Structive Property Core `structive::property_core` describes intrinsic property structure and provides managed read/write, synchronization, traversal, validation metadata and type-erased runtime access. Core has no access-control modes. A property only reports its own intrinsic `readable` / `writable` capability. External systems own their own exposure and authorization policy. Stored `read_only` properties do not receive lock slots or contribute mutexes, and managed reads use the no-lock fast path. Focused runtime and synchronization contracts are regression-tested in `tests/runtime_api_test.cpp` and `tests/synchronization_test.cpp`. See [Core Guide](../docs/CORE_GUIDE.md) and [Design Philosophy](../docs/DESIGN.md).
